UWO is an international non-profit organisation and peace institution with experience in working with children through art and music.
As part of the tour “Children – Future of Ukraine” Artisto met on December 26 2015 with young people at a juvenile prison in Pryluky.
Artisto spoke with the young people about their feelings, dreams and desires for the future and how to achieve their goals together. Artisto told the youth about his experience with dreams and their realisation. After Artisto performed “Revolution Ukraine”, Santa Claus visited the boys. Of course, he came not without Christmas presents: In addition to candy the boys also got notebooks, envelopes, calendars, socks and underwear.

UWO took part with a colourful booth at the so-called “Luther Festival“ the summer festival of the Luther Church in the south of Cologne. We thank pastor Hans Mörtter, who gave with a multicultural program and his refugee project “fire department fund” the frame and a beautiful place for UWO to present the organization and its ongoing projects as well as fund raising actions. In the shadow of Luther Tower, many curious prospects found answers to their questions about UWO, while countless children had fun with face painting, painting, playing and had Artisto’s jokes. Thanks to all for the cheerful atmosphere, all the beautiful pictures and also the motivated volunteers.
It was a pleasure for the Good Hearts Organisation from Switzerland to receive 600 Euros from the United World Organisation from the street festival in the Mainzer Straße in Cologne. The contact to the Swiss organisation was launched by Apo Celik from the restaurant Tomatoe’s in Cologne. We thank him once again for his engagement.
With great joy, Artisto took last Sunday the donation check for UWO in the amount of 2.450,00 Euro, presented by Michael Thomanek, the head of Jido Kan. He organized the Mainzer Street Festival, which took place in Cologne two weeks ago and thereby initiated the idea to donate the entire revenue surplus at UWO.
A part of the sum in the amount of 600.00 euros will go on the initiative of Apo Celik of Tomatoe’s the “Good Hearts Organisation” in Kenya to build a school. UWO promotes the rest of the sum of the current project Streetkids and various other charitable causes.
Various stalls at the street festival have thereby collated with their hardworking and heartful engangement this considerable sum, especially the cake stand, Jido Kan and Capricorn as well as stores and actions like Vitaverde, funfair games, flea market stalls, Mainzer Hof, the Bierwagen, Jussave, Café Latta, Thies, Chinese stall and Terrarium.
